- Execution of an EffCheck (efficiency check) initiated by the Effizienznetz Rheinland-Pfalz (efficiency network Rhineland-Palatinate) to increase production-integrated environmental protection (PIUS) through the identification of concrete potentials for energy savings.
- Identification of a total of 17 PIUS potentials in the macroanalysis, of which three were selected for further exploration in a microanalysis. The analysis focused on the development of a concept to reduce overproduction and defective batches, investigation of an applicable solution for closing the gates to the factory floors to reduce heating load, as well as the development of a lighting concept
